My father George Goodyear, changed his name we believe when he joined the Army in WWI.
We think his original name was Gottlieb Gutjahr, from Pollock South Dakota.

His father's name was Albert Goodyear, 18? to 1918, wife's name was Mary Jane Pincent 18?? - 1944.
They came from England (not sure what part). Horace Goodyear had a brother named Leonard and a sister named Lily from Ladle Cove/Aspen Cove area of
Newfoundland.

a Polly Goodyear of York Co., PA marrying Henry Stroman of York, PA in 1812. They had
